The Community Action Committee of Cape Cod, the Office of Economic Opportunity controlling agent for such programs as the educational Head Start, and Legal Services, may be suspended as of May 15.
Thomas J. Curry, CAC director, says bluntly enough that he'd
"like to know just what is going on."
Seems he sent a letter to the New York office of OEO in April forwarded the Barnstable School Department's request through Head Start director Mrs. Dianne Babbitt for a psychological consultant.
The request was denied.
With the answer came OEO's charge that the Cape Cod CAC was delinquent in filing its audit.
