= ITEM: Which Laguna "Landpainter" exhibited a painting entitled "Trabuco Harvesters" as part of a "Community Focus Space Program" at (appropriately enough) John Wayne Airport in 2012?
= At the time, no information was given as to the identities of these "Trabuco Harvesters," or if they gave their permission for their images to be used in this artist's "vibrant," "contemporary" painting.
= As well, no information was given as to any compensation provided to these "Harvesters," for the use of said images.
= Now, revelations have surfaced that the same artist will be judging an upcoming local event entitled "Quick Draw Painting Competition & Sale," July 13, 2024, at Big Canyon & Muth Interpretive Center in Newport Beach, California.
= However, some are saying everal aspects of this story are problematic, to say the least.
= Aside from the obvious issues of white male privilege, cultural appropriation and exploitation, allegations of white supremacy and Native American genocide cannot be dismissed regarding the use of the potentially triggering phrase "Quick Draw."
= "Quick Draw McGraw is the protagonist and title character of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. He is an anthropomorphic white horse, wearing a red Stetson cowboy hat, a red holster belt, a light blue bandana, and occasionally spurs." (Wikipedia)

"You are deluded."
"The reason I remember it so well is that -- "
"You lie."
"He played one of his l favorite funny, funny jokes on me. Which was to arrange a meeting and then totally stand me up. Which was super super funny. And then he would completely deny it. The first time he ever did this was in 1979. In Harvard Square."
"You fantasize."
"And I believe that this lunch we had together was the first initial swirl, in what was to be my final -- I was circling the drain. For the last time. I was a horrible person! I was the worst type of person a person could be. Also, I was completely out of my mind. My whole entire life up to this point had been just ...
