Mrs. Margaret A. Phinney, R. N., will be the guest speaker at a luncheon meeting of the
Cape Cod Community Council to be held
Thursday, Feb. 8, at
East Bay Lodge in
Osterville.
Mrs. Phinney, a graduate of
New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, is a teacher in
Special Education for the
Town of Barnstable school system. She holds both a Bachelor's degree and
a Master's degree in Education from
Bridgewater State College. Before her present career, she was employd as a registered nurse at Cape Cod Hospital.
In describing her work as a teacher
Mrs. Phinney will discuss the theme of the
Community Council, which is
to become informed on the various
services offered to children in
Cape Cod's public schools.
