Comedy Club's Workshop Play Next Tuesday
A scary evening is in prospect for members and friends of Barnstable Comedy Club when the March Workshop play Is presented on Tuesday, March 14 at 8 p.m. In tlie Village Hall.
The play In Uiree scenes "The Monkey's Paw" by W. W. Jacobs, dramatized by Louis Parker, will be directed by C. Sheldon Ufhell.
The play has been a popular one on radio, TV and stage since it was first produced in 1903. The setting is an old-fashioned cottage on the outskirts of an English town. Principal parts are being taken by Louis Jacobucci, Marianne Mccarty, Robert West, Ralph Kaye and Bruce Jerauld. Stage manager Is Margot Barnet, Make-up and sound effects are being handled by Harriet Cameron, lights by Jack Vctorlno, and the prompter is Florence Ufhell. 'This evening of pure fun is given free for all members and for students. Others pay a small admission. Tlie club's spring play, "Biography," is completely cast and rehearsals arc under way now under the direction of Doris St. Coeur. It will be presented on April 21 and 22, 28 and 29.
