“Velveteen: The Real Girl Short Fiction Collection: A Short Fiction Collection, By: Velveteen” is the story of a young Woman who travels back in time to 1983 San Francisco, where she descends into the seedy underground circuit. She subsequently triumphs over her "Manager” (Lil Boochie), as well as the symbolic representation of Pure Evil embodied in the character Jackie_drew. In the end, Velveteen goes on to find Love and Redemption at an eponymously-named Chicken Sandwich Restaurant.

The Passing Thrills and Chills of February 1969.
John and Sandra Yee celebrated Chinese New Year's on Feb. 24th with a bang-bang, twelve course dinner and cocktail party for 150 friends.
An untold number of exotic Cantonese dishes were served some of which took days to prepare and will be long remembered.
Radio personality Ray Hall and his wife Harriet, director of Homemaker Service, and Russ Kelsey and his vocalist Pat shared our dinner table.
Harriet Hall said she was delighted that competent Polly Taylor had become interested enough in the Homemakers to plan a publicity campaign for that service.
