“Velveteen: The Real Girl Short Fiction Collection: A Short Fiction Collection, By: Velveteen” is the story of a young Woman who travels back in time to 1983 San Francisco, where she descends into the seedy underground circuit. She subsequently triumphs over her "Manager” (Lil Boochie), as well as the symbolic representation of Pure Evil embodied in the character Jackie_drew. In the end, Velveteen goes on to find Love and Redemption at an eponymously-named Chicken Sandwich Restaurant.

The pre-school department is supervised by Mrs. Edward C. Nemec.
Teachers are
Mrs. Irvin K. Besse, nursery, and
Miss Margot Barnet, kindergarten.
Assistants are
Mrs. Thomas W. Leonard, and
Mrs. Arthur Cahoon.
The "Martin and Judy" series Is the basic study material.
First grade is taught by
Miss Judith Crocker.
Text are
"Animal Babies" and
"A Brand New Baby"
through which the children are led to
an appreciation of nature.
In the second grade, taught by
Miss Pamela Crocker, study materials include
"Always Growing" and
"The Family Finds Out",
which deal with
family relationships,
Robert DeCellc teaches third grade, in which the children study
the creation stories of
various religions and cultures,
using the books
"Beginnings of Life and Death",
"Beginnings of Earth and Sky," and
"From Long Ago and Many Lands."
The fourth grade is taught by
Mrs. Sydney T. Knott, Jr.; the fifth grade by
Mrs. A. Lawrence Titus.
In both the subject of study is the
Judeo-Chrlstlan heritage as seen through the
Old Testament.
John R. Handy teaches sixth grade, in which pupils study
the life of Jesus.
The Junior high class studies
various religious denominations of this country, under the leadership of
Newton B. Travis.
A. Lawrence Titus and
Louis J. Jacobucci are
in charge of'
the senior high group.
Students themselves will participate in selecting the subject of study for the year.
