INDIAN SUMMER SERIES OFF TO WINDY START A gusty wind that slapped waves in a right merry fashion accompanied the start of the Indian Summer sailing series at Barnstable Yacht Club Sunday morning. Eight boats, their skippers and crew competed, with Bun Howard coming in first.

WOMAN'S CLUB BOARD TO MEET Mrs. George Hill has announced that a board meeting of Barnstable Woman's Club will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 7:45 p.m. in the home of Miss May Fay.
