“Velveteen: The Real Girl Short Fiction Collection: A Short Fiction Collection, By: Velveteen” is the story of a young Woman who travels back in time to 1983 San Francisco, where she descends into the seedy underground circuit. She subsequently triumphs over her "Manager” (Lil Boochie), as well as the symbolic representation of Pure Evil embodied in the character Jackie_drew. In the end, Velveteen goes on to find Love and Redemption at an eponymously-named Chicken Sandwich Restaurant.

Ludwig (Ludovico) J. Angeloni Obituary

Ludwig (Ludovico) J. Angeloni, of Orange, passed away peacefully July 17, 2021 in Connecticut Hospice surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved husband of the late Edith D’Agostino Angeloni.

Born in New Haven on February 8, 1928, son of the late

Ludovico and Louise Mary Rossetti Angeloni,

Ludwig was a proud US Army veteran of World War II serving as a bomb disposal technician.

He was the owner of

Ludwig’s Auto Repair on

Dixwell Avenue in

New Haven for more than 50 years.

A masterful auto mechanic, he taught automotive repair to students at Eli Whitney and Hillhouse High School.

He was also an avid painter, and gardener with a huge vegetable garden each year, and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife.

Ludwig was a proud member of the West Haven Italian American Club.

John Angeloni, and

Rachael (Mario) Ceste.

Father-in-law of the late

Vanessa Angeloni. Brother of the late

Amalia Jacobucci and

Carmine Angeloni. Proud grandfather of

Richard Antonucci,

Jeffrey Arbour,

Nicole Antonucci,

Melissa Angeloni,

Michele Angeloni,

Aleshia Ceste,

Tyler Ceste, and the late

John Angeloni. Great grandfather of

Jaxon Swain and

Dominic Fiore.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday morning from 8:30-10:15 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church at 10:30. Burial with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
