Ludwig (Ludovico) J. Angeloni, of Orange, passed away peacefully July 17, 2021
in Connecticut Hospice surrounded by his family.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Edith D’Agostino Angeloni.
Born in New Haven on
February 8, 1928,
son of the late
Ludovico and
Louise Mary Rossetti Angeloni,
Ludwig was a proud US Army veteran of World War II serving as a bomb disposal technician.
He was the owner of
Ludwig’s Auto Repair on
Dixwell Avenue in
New Haven for more than 50 years.
A masterful auto mechanic, he taught automotive repair to students at Eli Whitney and Hillhouse High School.
He was also an avid painter, and gardener with a huge vegetable garden each year, and enjoyed traveling the world with his wife.
Ludwig was a proud member of the West Haven Italian American Club.

Vanessa Angeloni.
Brother of the late
Amalia Jacobucci and

Jeffrey Arbour,
Nicole Antonucci,
Melissa Angeloni,
Michele Angeloni,
Aleshia Ceste,
Tyler Ceste, and the late
John Angeloni. Great grandfather of
Jaxon Swain and
Dominic Fiore.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday morning from 8:30-10:15 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church at 10:30. Burial with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

A public meeting to explain the details of the government Medicare program will be held In the parish hall of Barnstable Unitarian Church on Tuesday. Nov. 30, at 8 p.m.
Arthur li. Hogan, a; si itanl district manager of die New Bedford social security office, will explain what is required to qualify for benefits.
Sharing the platform with Mr. Hogan will be
Dr. Robert S. Thrope of Hyannls, president of Barnstable County Medical Society. who will discuss the Medicare program from the medical viewpoint
Both speakers will answer quel tions from the floor.
The meeting is being planned as a public service by the
Social Concerns Committee of the
Unitarian Church comprised of
Louis Jacobucci. chairman,
Bruce K. Jerauld,
Mr. and Mrs. A Lawrence Titus,
Mis Janice Glover, and
Mr. and Mrs. Emerson F. Moscley.
Mr. Hogan, who has been employed by the Social Security Administration since 1955, is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He is a past state director of the Connecticut Junior Chamber of Commerce.

The Cape Cod Community Council will open its season with a program on
Establishing a Family Service Agency at a meeting Sept. 17 at St. Francis Xavler Church, South St., Hyannls.
This is an open meeting and the public is cordially Invited.
It starts at 2:30 pm.
This year the Council will focus on community needs.
Other programs for the year will be:
October - Food Stamps and Rent Subsidies, Larry Newman;
November - Group Work Agencies Serving the Hard-to-Reach, Mrs. Primrose Craven, Girl Scout Council;
December - Day Care Centers, Mrs. Sue Johnson;
January - Housing for Low-Income Families, Mrs. Beverly Bourne;
February - Communication Between Generations, Mrs. Harriet Hall;
March - Disaster Planning on Cape Cod, Mr. John McCarthy;
April - Ecology on Cape Cod - What's Happening, Mrs. Ann Williams;
May - Annual Meeting - The Taxpayer and His Dollar.
