“Velveteen: The Real Girl Short Fiction Collection: A Short Fiction Collection, By: Velveteen” is the story of a young Woman who travels back in time to 1983 San Francisco, where she descends into the seedy underground circuit. She subsequently triumphs over her "Manager” (Lil Boochie), as well as the symbolic representation of Pure Evil embodied in the character Jackie_drew. In the end, Velveteen goes on to find Love and Redemption at an eponymously-named Chicken Sandwich Restaurant.

Cape Cod Homemaker-Home Health Aide Service, Inc., held its annual awards banquet recently at the Blue Water Resort Hotel, Bass River.
Thirteen homemaker-home health aides were awarded prizes by
Executive Director Mrs. Harriet Hall
for hours of service rendered as employees of the non-profit community service.
The agency board of directors holds the yearly dinner fete as a way to thank the homemakers for their devoted service to the agency and to the community.
All awards include a salary increase.
Letters of commendation were given to
Mrs. Mary Adams, West Barnstable;
Miss Evelyn Boulton, South Yarmouth;
Mrs. Barbara Fates, Orleans; and
Mrs. Marion Long, Buzzards Bay;
for 2500 ...
