“Velveteen: The Real Girl Short Fiction Collection: A Short Fiction Collection, By: Velveteen” is the story of a young Woman who travels back in time to 1983 San Francisco, where she descends into the seedy underground circuit. She subsequently triumphs over her "Manager” (Lil Boochie), as well as the symbolic representation of Pure Evil embodied in the character Jackie_drew. In the end, Velveteen goes on to find Love and Redemption at an eponymously-named Chicken Sandwich Restaurant.

The National Honor Society-sponsored Nostalgia Night was a great success.
The dance, revolving around the theme of reminiscing for seniors, was attended by approximately 250 people, last Saturday night in the BHS cafeteria.
Pava provided the music, songs from the 60's and 50's, including the Beach Boys and the Beatles.
Prizes, 16 Magazines, were awarded to
Chuck and
Grant Tuttle, and
Mark Jacobucci,
for the best boy "greazers", while the girl winners were
Wendy Lopata,
Jackie Dary, and
Cheryl O'Neill.
Awards were also given to the winners of the dance contest,
Jennie Hatfield,
Tom Barrett,
Carol Klusky, and
Mark Jacobucci.
Carol and
Mark
did the twist to earn their prize.
