"What are the duties and functions of local health departments?"
This is one of the questions to he asked at the Cape Cod Community Council's Health Institute to be held Wednesday, May 31, at the Wychmere Harbor Club In Harwich Port.
Dr. Leon Sternfeld, Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, will be the moderator of a symposium which will discuss coordination and Improvement of health services, as well as ways of providing continuous health care for all age groups on Cape Cod.
Dr. Leona Baumgartner, professor at Harvard Medical School who will be the keynote speaker at the Institute, will have as her topic "New Horizons In Health Care."
