“Velveteen: The Real Girl Short Fiction Collection: A Short Fiction Collection, By: Velveteen” is the story of a young Woman who travels back in time to 1983 San Francisco, where she descends into the seedy underground circuit. She subsequently triumphs over her "Manager” (Lil Boochie), as well as the symbolic representation of Pure Evil embodied in the character Jackie_drew. In the end, Velveteen goes on to find Love and Redemption at an eponymously-named Chicken Sandwich Restaurant.

Louis Jacobucci, district executive, Children's Protective Services, has announced the removal of the agency offices from 298 Main Street, Hyannis, to 80S West Main Street, Hyannis. The move was necessitated by the society's expansion of staff and the need for more space.

Jacobucci stated, "In 1915 we started with an office at Park Square and later a move was made to 298 Main Street. This third move Is further west to a new building across the road from Barnstable High School. The phone number remains 775-0275."
